The Haliburton Highlands is the heart of Ontario cottage country, bordered by Muskoka to the West, the Kawartha's to the South and Algonquin Park to the North. The Highlands combine the best of all three with majestic rolling hills, over 6,000 pristine lakes and numerous quaint villages.
The town of Haliburton, (15 minutes from Sir Sam's Inn) has a full array of services and shops. What's more a new campus for Sir Sanford Fleming College is currently underway and will be a county focal point for local artisans and their crafts.
