Sir Sam's Inn is magnificently situated on the
shores of Eagle Lake in the Highlands of Haliburton, a scenic
2 1/2 hour drive (225km) northeast of Toronto.
FROM TORONTO WEST
- - Take Hwy.400 north to Hwy. 11.
- - Drive North on Hwy. 11 (past Gravenhurst to Bracebridge) and exit Hwy. 118 East.
- - Take Hwy. 118 East (approx. 1 hr) to Haliburton Lake Road.
- - Turn left on Haliburton Lake Road to Sir Sam's Rd.
- - Turn right on Sir Sam's Rd.and follow the signs to the Inn.
- - This route from Toronto is about 2 1/2 hours.
FROM TORONTO EAST
- - Hwy. 404 to Davis Dr. then east to Hwy. 48.
- - Follow Hwy. 48 North and then turn Left on Hwy. 12 North.
- - Turn Right on Hwy. 48, then turn North to Hwy. 35 at Coboconk.
- - Through the town of Minden on Hwy. 35 North to Carnarvon.
- - Turn right and take Hwy. 118 East to Haliburton Lake Road.
- - Turn left on Haliburton Lake Road to Sir Sam's Rd.
- - Turn right on Sir Sam's Rd. and follow the signs to the Inn.
FROM OTTAWA
- - From Ottawa follow Hwy.17 West until you reach Hwy. 132 (just north of Renfrew).
- - Follow Hwy. 132 through Renfrew and continue until it turns into Hwy. 41.
- - When you reach Denbigh follow Hwy. 28 to Bancroft.
- - From Bancroft follow Hwy. 118 (formerly Hwy. 121) to Haliburton.
- - Through the set of lights in Haliburton following Hwy. 118 to Haliburton Lake Road.
- - Turn right on Haliburton Lake Road to Eagle Lake.
- - Turn right on Sir Sam's Rd. and continue until you reach the Inn.
